About Me

When I started practicing law over 30 years ago I was motivated by one thing, helping people. That motivation has never changed.

For the past five years I have been a nearly obsessive about learning how to use computers, working with digital photography, podcasting, making and editing digital videos and learning a ton of other “new media” and new technology skills.

I have to admit, I have always been a gadget freak and now, I guess, I’ve become somewhat of a computer geek too.

This past summer my wife got a laptop and time and time again she was asking me “how do I do that?”

I realized that over time when I wanted to learn something, I asked someone with more experience than me to show me how. Sometimes I got that information for free, a lot of the time I paid tons of money to learn how to do things that I now take for granted.

Eventually I realized that there would always be people with vastly more knowledge than me and that I would likely continue to turn to them often.

But I also realized that there were a lot of people, just like me, who were coming on line, getting new computers, new digital cameras, maybe joining Facebook or using Twitter and who needed help. Many of them don’t know where to turn, maybe even don’t know what to ask, and certainly don’t yet know the real joy and power of what they have tapped into.

So, here I am, pushing sixty years old, with five years of dedicated study behind me and a bunch of folks out there who I can help. It’s the perfect environment for me to renew my passion and for it to thrive.
